Jean's Place, 1799. Gold/Copper version

$40.00 USD

This is my re-imagining of Jean Baptiste DuSable's home built on the site of what would become Chicago in the 1780's , leaving in 1800. A swampy place, Chicago was named after the native american word for "Stinking Onion", a term which could be applied toward our modern day politics here in the Windy City.

The print is 18 x 24 inches and is a signed and numbered edition of 300.

This is the Gold/Copper edition on Manilla stock.
